Effective May 23, 2026

Your privacy matters. NextDue is built on a simple promise — your data belongs to you, lives on your device, and is never shared with anyone.

At a glance

  • All data is stored only on your device.
  • We do not collect, transmit, or sell any personal information.
  • No third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking.

Information We Do Not Collect

NextDue does not collect any personal information. We do not collect:

The app contains no analytics SDKs, advertising frameworks, or remote logging systems.

2

Information Stored On Your Device

All data you create in NextDue is stored locally on your iPhone using an on-device database. This includes:

This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly back it up through iOS system features such as iCloud Backup, which are governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not have access to any iCloud Backup content.

3

Notifications

NextDue may request permission to send you local notifications to remind you of upcoming bill due dates. These notifications are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device — no servers, no external services involved. Notification content is generated from your locally stored bill data and is never transmitted anywhere. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in your iPhone's Settings app.

4

Home Screen Widgets

NextDue offers optional home screen widgets that display your upcoming bills at a glance. These widgets read only from your locally stored data and operate entirely on-device. No widget data is sent to external servers or shared with any third party.

5

Data Sharing

We do not share any data with third parties because we do not collect any data to begin with. NextDue has no backend server, no cloud database, and no partnerships with data brokers, advertisers, or analytics providers. Your bill information is entirely private and under your control.

6

Data Security

Your data is stored locally on your device and protected by iOS built-in security features, including device encryption and app sandboxing. We recommend keeping your device protected with a passcode or Face ID. Because all data stays on your device, the security of your information is tied directly to the security of your iPhone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We will never introduce data collection or sharing practices without clearly disclosing them here.
